● Workshop Description:
The workshop based on Coşkun Aşar’s personal photographic approach and the keys of the creating personal stories. The workshop included participant's portfolio review too. During the two days workshop Coşkun Aşar will present his own works, approach, the example of the selected works from the other photographers and he will review the portfolio of the participants.
● Part I:
- The presentation on the photographer's work and the photographic approach
- The presentation of selected inspiring works and approach from different photographers.
- The presentation of the contact sheets and showing some example from the film series of Contacts.
-Portfolio review for participants.
● Part II:
- Portfolio review for participants.
- Finding a subject and personal approach to create a personal photographic story.
- Curiosity, concentration, experience and questions.
- Relation of the content, the context and the form in the picture and in the story (talks about on technics too).
- The combination of the selections before start to work and while working (technic and approach)
- Editing picture and the story: choose, develop, sequence for final outputs like exhibition or a photo book.

• Descrierea atelierului:
Atelierul bazat pe abordarea fotografică personală a lui Coșkun Șar și cheile creării poveștilor personale. Atelierul a inclus și revizuirea portofoliului participanților. Pe parcursul celor două zile de atelier, Coșkun Așar își va prezenta propriile lucrări, abordări, exemplul lucrărilor selectate de la ceilalți fotografi și va trece în revistă portofoliul participanților.
• Partea I:
- Prezentarea lucrarii fotografului si a abordarii fotografice
- Prezentarea lucrărilor inspirate selectate și abordarea de la diferiți fotografi.
- Prezentarea fișelor de contact și prezentarea unor exemple din seria de filme de contacte.

- Revizuirea portofoliului pentru participanți.
- Găsirea unui subiect și a unei abordări personale pentru a crea o poveste fotografică personală.
- Curiozitate, concentrare, experiență și întrebări.
- Relația dintre conținut, context și formă în imagine și în poveste (vorbește și despre tehnică).
- Combinația selecțiilor înainte de începerea lucrului și în timpul lucrului (tehnică și abordare)
- Editarea imaginii și a poveștii: alegeți, dezvoltați, secvențiați rezultatele finale, cum ar fi expoziția sau o carte foto.

The event is part of the 8th edition of the Bucharest Photofest international photography festival, a photography festival that takes place between OCT 6-15, 2023 in Bucharest and has as its central theme IDENTITY.
