Acest aur cenușiu, indispensabil dispozitivelor moderne, a fost cauza unor conflicte și a unei exploatări nemiloase. În Numbi, trupurile sunt acoperite de noroi, mâinile sunt pătate de sânge, iar coltanul se ascunde în fiecare buzunar. Fiecare locuitor trăiește cu speranța iluzorie de a scăpa de propriul destin și de a se bucura de bogățiile Congoului.

[en] In Numbi, a village hidden in the Congo DRC mountains, miners dig the coltan with their bare hands. This grey gold indispensable to modern devices has been the cause of conflicts and ruthless exploitation. In Numbi, bodies are covered in mud, hands are stained with blood, and coltan hides in every pocket. Every inhabitant lives with the illusory hope of escaping fate and enjoying the riches of Congo.
