In Éclair, Marko, son of the cook in the Marshal’s villa, get’s a chance to try the food that has been cooked in front of his eyes all his life and in Stone Soup, all the villagers are glued to their TVs for the recipe of the day when there is a sudden power cut. Ivan’s Need for kneading incredibly elastic dough into crispy bread changes when he sees Alva's long breasts and The Macaron Man is the subject of a film about Jon, a baker who has invested his savings into a bakery to make his own French macarons. A Numbness in the Mouth presents a militarized Ireland of the near-future where each citizen is requested to consume more than five pounds of flour per day, in order to retain economic balance, while Sweet Dumplings depicts a couple preparing the favorite dumplings of their daughter who passed away 3 years ago.
