Gardienii este un thriller comic câștigător al multor premii, a cărui acțiune se petrece în East End – o zonă cu un trecut hoărât și un viitor incert. Acțiunea se desfășoară în jurul lui Carlson și Lavender, care au grijă de o casă veche de 200 de ani. La început nu trebuie decât să se descurce unul cu altul, însă după un timp totul pare straniu. Zgomotele, umbrele și aparițiile ciudate arată de fapt că sunt supravegheați. Dar de către cine? Fantome? Intruși? Ființe sexuale? Oricine ar fi, acești doi idioți nu sunt în stare să facă față.

Guardians is an award-winning comedy thriller set in the East End, an area with a decidedly chequered past and an uncertain future. It centres on Carlson and Lavender, thrown together to look after a 200 year old townhouse. At first they only have to deal with each other, but it soon becomes clear that there is more to this ‘old dark house’ than meets the eye. Noises, shadows and strange apparitions all point to the house being under surveillance. But by who? Ghosts? Intruders? Sex fiends? (What?!) Whoever it is, these two idiots are clearly not best equipped to deal with it!
