ctrl x Sqweez! x Rogue Puppet Records: Varøsian [UK], Fussey [UK], ESME, FAUST 18+

On Friday, May 22, Control becomes our playground for a collaboration between ctrl x Sqweez! x Rogue Puppet Records.

Some collectives move on similar frequencies, and over the years we’ve come to understand this is not a one-off, but an ongoing exchange - a bridge between the UK and Romanian scenes, both shaped by multicultural, diverse perspectives and a shared pull towards the underground.

With a lineup leaning into techno in its many shades, we’re welcoming both familiar faces and new energies - choosing hypnotic progression over aggressive drops.

Varøsian & Fussey - Rogue Puppet Records [UK]

Varøsian is a UK-based techno DJ and producer known for his raw, hypnotic, hardgroove sound. As the founder of Rogue Puppet Records, he has played alongside artists including Coyu, Blasha & Allatt, BLANKA, Nene H, and Yant, with performances across Ibiza, Amsterdam, Berlin, and beyond.

An experienced DJ with strong 3/4 deck mixing skills and a deep appreciation for vinyl, he is known for reading the room well and never playing it safe. His debut release on Sub Eq gained support from Marrøn and Richie Hawtin, while later releases on SUARA and Rogue Puppet Records climbed the Beatport charts. He also has an upcoming release on Planet Rhythm, further cementing his place in the techno scene.

Fussey is a Leeds based DJ whose sound traces back to the heavy, industrial parties of the UK underground scene. His sets are now rooted in hypnotic techno, while still drawing influence from the powerful kicks and industrial textures that first inspired him.

And because no Sqweez! night exists without a body that shifts the room - Aphrodite joins as performer.
