Synopsis:

At night, Mara (10) and her mother enter Bucharest seeking refuge with relatives. They have just run away from home after a violent domestic event. They’re planning to stay at Mara`s aunt for a couple of days and regroup, mapping out a new beginning away from home. But it seems like everyone claims to know what’s best for them and “help” is only a matter of perception. As she starts getting more and more tired, Mara starts questioning her relationships with the adults around her. This is the night when she starts losing trust.
