Cyanolumen workshop w/ Henri Blommers

In this 3-hour cyanolumen workshop, Henri Blommers will show you how to create cyanolumens and share his tips for choosing the right paper. You can bring your own digital negatives and photo paper, but Henri will provide some too. Just make sure to wear clothes that can get messy and bring a plastic bag for your prints. A little knowledge of cyanotype is helpful!

Henri Blommers is a Dutch fine art photographer working both digital and analog, with multiple cameras, incorporating stitching, collage and other techniques in his practice.  At Bucharest Photofest Henri is showing a selection of 20 images from his experimental photography and will also offer a workshop in collaboration with the Allkimik studio. In this cyanolumen workshop of 3 hours Henri Blommers will teach you how to create cyanolumens, what to consider and will discuss a system he uses for himself to determine whether a paper is useful or not. You are free to take your own digital negatives to play with and/or your own photographic paper, but there will be digital negatives and paper provided by Henri and the studio. Take a plastic bag for the prints and wear clothes that can get dirty. Some knowledge of cyanotype is useful for the workshop, but not strictly necessary.
