DokStation: French Touch Party

Unul din membrii fondatori ai Télépopmusik, Antipop susține DJ set-uri în toată lumea, cucerind publicul cu mixurile sale deep & acid. 
În luna iunie a acestui an, duo-ul francez de muzică electronică Télépopmusik a lansat single-ul Connection  – în colaborare cu Young & Sick, iar un nou album urmează să apară în toamnă.
Recent, 2Square și Antipop s-au izolat în studioul de înregistrări, făcând ultimele retușuri la cel de-al treilea album, ce conține colaborări cu Young & Sick, Betty Black, Angela McCluskey, Mau și Johanna Wedin.
Sound-ul lor elegant este întipărit în subconștientul colectiv, datorită hit-urilor precum Breathe, a turneelor sold-out, dar și prin piesele care au ilustrat sonor numeroase campanii publicitare de succes. În dorința de a atinge perfecțiunea creativă, traiectoria Télépopmusik a fost una exemplară, cei doi artiști lăsând muzica să vorbească pentru ei.

Cunoscut pentru albumele solo și pentru colaborările cu muzicieni din cele mai diverse stiluri, Electric Brother vine la DokStation cu un RetroElectro DJ set.
Primul sau album a fost prezentat live și la Montreux Jazz Festival (2003), împreună cu Marta Hristea și Vlaicu Golcea. Cel mai recent album solo al său, Rocks (2016), este primul disc mixat și prezentat publicului in sistem Dolby Atmos, intr-o sala de cinema. Între cele doua, a semnat mai multe albume de colaborări, coloane sonore de filme, teatru, reclame și spectacole multimedia.
Firul rosu care leagă toate producțiile și aparițiile lui Electric Brothereste încercarea de a inova, de a surprinde, de a găsi moduri noi de exprimare muzicală. Stilul care îl caracterizează este botezat de el “RetroElectro”, adică tot ce e mai groovy și mai dansant din muzica jazz și funk a anilor trecuți dar și din cele mai noi producții din zona de fusion electro.

This June, Télépopmusik have released a new single – “Connection” – and a new album will follow in the fall.
2Square & Antipop were locked away in the studio putting together the finishing touches to what will be their third album with featurings from Young & Sick, Betty Black, Angela McCluskey, Mau and Johanna Wedin.
Their elegant sound is now firmly engrained in the public’s subconscious through hit singles like Breathe, sold-out tours and clever sound-tracking on many high-profile advertising campaigns. Yet we should never forget that, above all, they are a band who have only ever simply strived for creative perfection. Their trajectory thus far has been exemplary – a pure case of “letting the music do the talking…”

Known for solo albums and collaborations with musicians of the most diverse styles, Electric Brother brings his RetroElectro DJ set to DokStation.
His first live album was presented live at the Montreux Jazz Festival as well, in 2003, alongside Marta Hristea and Vlaicu Golcea. Rocks, his latest solo album (2016), is the first mixed disc and was presented to the public through the Dolby Atmos system in a cinema room. Between these two events, he signed several albums for collaborations, film soundtracks, theater, advertisements and multimedia performances.
The red wire linking all of the productions and appearances of Electric Brother is a taste for innovation, to catch the listener’s attention, to find new ways of musical expression. The style that characterizes him is self-named “RetroElectro”, meaning everything that is groovy and dance-driven from the jazz and funk genres of the past years, but also from the latest productions in the electro-fusion area.
