Horse Jumper of Love comes to Control on Tuesday, November 17, marking ten years since the release of their self-titled debut, a scrappy slowcore record written in a basement and quietly uploaded to Bandcamp in 2016.

What began with almost no expectations went on to become a cult favourite, helping bring slowcore and shoegaze back into the indie conversation and leaving its mark on a younger generation of bands. In the years since, the Boston trio have gone from house shows to international tours, while songs from Horse Jumper of Love have settled into the modern slowcore canon.

For its tenth anniversary, the album has been remastered and expanded by Run For Cover Records with unreleased demos, B-sides and alternate versions, returning attention to the rough edges and aching intimacy that made it resonate in the first place.
