Crippled Black Phoenix este o trupa consacrata din Regatul Unit, formata in anul 2004 de instrumentistul Justin Greaves, pe atunci tobosarul trupei Iron Monkey. Acesta impreuna cu Dominic Aitchinson, basistul de la Mogwai, pornesc in calatoria Crippled Black Phoenix care de-a lungul timpului a realizat arta muzicala prin compozitiile si sunetul autentic abordat.

Combinatia de "progressive stoner" cu "freak folk" si "psychedelic doom" creeaza o atmosfera aparte la fiecare concert Crippled Black Phoenix. De-a lungul timpului, trupa a lansat 9 albume de studio, un mini-album si 2 EP-uri.

In deschidere va canta The Devil's Trade, un one man show a carui muzica reprezinta praful de care omul se scutura in timpul pelerinajului sau prin viata.

Crippled Black Phoenix is a rock group from the United Kingdom centered around the multi-instrumentalist Justin Greaves. The band have released nine studio albums, one mini album, two EPs and a number of singles. Members of the band used to play in other bands (including Iron Monkey, Gonga, Mogwai, Electric Wizard, Hearts of Black Science and others). In 2004, Justin Greaves began recording primitive sounds he had had in mind for years. He was encouraged by Dominic Aitchison, and their ideas would lay the backbone for Crippled Black Phoenix. The name of the band was initially an idea of Jim Rushby, guitarist of Greaves' previous band, Iron Monkey and taken from the lyrics (by Johnny Morrow of Iron Monkey), of "Big Loader," a song on the debut album Iron Monkey.

Crippled Black Phoenix have made live shows a focus and have performed in unusual venues, using Victorian-era instruments in tandem with more modern instruments.

The opening act will be held by The Devil's Trade, a one man show whose music is the dust he shakes during this pilgrimage in life.
