On October 19, Black Rhino returns to @clubcontrol and hits the lucky 13 Residency. For this occasion, the radio welcomes the opportunity to put together a lineup for the club's two rooms, bringing to stage a musical universe present to the radio waves.

Room 1: Sir Spyro w/ Footsie, Chimpo, shiv

Room 2: The Apricots (Alexandra and Dj Slim Fit), Alecsey

Room 1 gravitates around bass music with BBC 1XTRA grime specialist Sir Spyro, playing a two-hour set in the company of the grime pioneer Footsie. With these two on the same stage, we will likely get a sense of the dub vibes of @kingoriginalsound - the project where Spyro and Footsie dig deep into their reggae and dub origins. Next on the lineup for Room 1 is Manchester heavyweight Chimpo, known for his unbeatable fusion of jungle, grime, and dubstep. Ready to shake the dancefloor with his raw, bass-heavy sound, Chimpo comes to champion his unique mix of old-school jungle, dub, and drum and bass, a fusion that is sure to intrigue and excite.

As we have always emphasised, the role of opening and closing the session is one of the most significant. We are thrilled to announce that for this night, we have invited Black Rhino Radio broadcaster and rising bass music DJ - shiv to handle this mission, adding to the excitement and anticipation of the evening.

Room 2 changes the pace and the tempo with Black Rhino's long-time friends and broadcasters - The Apricots, a loving music fusion between Alexandra & DJ Slimfit. Playing all night, they bring forth a jam of house and breaks sounds.

The night starts on the terrace of Room 2 with the fierce vinyl addict Alecsey who comes to present his passion for groovy house tunes dug from all the corners of the world. Come early and discover one of the local's most talented and passionate DJs and music selectors.
