aim+wall presents: Commodo [UK], Drăgan 18+

On Thursday, February 19, aim+wall returns with their residency, inviting two artists who approach bass music with patience, depth, and intent, sound that holds weight without chasing excess.

Commodo operates quietly but decisively. With a strong hip-hop influence, his work speaks through basslines that feel lived-in rather than designed. Soulful, heavy, and deeply textural, Commodo’s sound avoids formula, leaning instead on inventive sampling and a sense of restraint that lets each element breathe. His sets unfold slowly, pulling the room inward through pressure rather than force.

Drăgan brings a sharp, contemporary perspective rooted in 140 BPM structures. Born in Brașov and based in Bucharest, her selections center on dubstep while branching into garage, grime, and experimental bass forms. Unpredictable and rhythm-focused, her sets thrive on contrast and momentum, shaped by a lifelong relationship with music that extends into her work in film and visual storytelling.

aim+wall frame the night by connecting the threads, bass pressure, space, and subtle mutation, guiding the flow between artists with an ear for contrast and continuity.

COMMMODO

A rare presence in modern club culture, Commodo builds bass music with soul and substance. Influenced by hip-hop’s rhythmic vitality and known for his distinctive sound design, his work distances itself from trend cycles, focusing instead on mood, weight, and narrative.

DRĂGAN

Drăgan’s club language is built on movement and tension. Anchored in dubstep but open to mutation, her sets incorporate garage, grime, and experimental bass textures, creating an unpredictable but focused dancefloor experience.

AIM+WALL

Born from Bucharest’s independent circuit, aim+wall is a platform for sound exploration. Through radio shows, live sets, and productions, they connect UK bass, jungle, footwork, and IDM into journeys shaped by contrast and curiosity.
