Faust, dir. F.W. Murnau, Germany, 1926 | 107 min.
One hundred years after its premiere, Faust (1926) remains one of the masterpieces of silent cinema and German Expressionism. F.W. Murnau transforms the legend of the pact with the devil into a hypnotic spectacle of light and shadow, love, temptation, and damnation, with imagery and visual effects that remain striking to this day.
A project presented by the German Cultural Center Cluj-Napoca.
