Dreaming of living an idle life and traveling around the world, Doina (Ioana Pavelescu) marries Hans (Klaus Gehrke), a German citizen, in spite of the fact that she loves her fellow student, Adrian (Dan Nuțu). Once abroad, her shattered dreams and the indifference of Hans' family will finally make Doina come back home.
