Iman has just been appointed a judge in Tehran's revolutionary court when the entire country is engulfed in social unrest. Taken unawares by the scale and violence of the protests, Iman experiences the absurdity and unfairness of the system first hand, but decides to play the game of the elite. At home, his student daughters Rezvan and Sana fervently support the protesters, while his wife, Najmeh, tries her best to keep the peace in the family. One day, the gun he received from work is nowhere to be found and Iman falls prey to a terrible paranoia...
