În drama de film Daragt, soarta unei simple familii turkmene este urmărită prin prisma istoriei. Soțul personajului principal merge pe frontul Marelui Război Patriotic, soția sa, devenită capul familiei, trece prin toate greutățile vremurilor grele militare. Ea devine susținătorul de familie, principalul câștigător al familiei și este încă o soție fidelă, așteptându-și soțul din față. Scenariul filmului a fost scris de Akmurad Rejepov pe baza poveștilor
reale spuse de martorii oculari ai acelor ani. 

In the film drama Daragt, the fate of a simple Turkmen family is traced through the prism of history. The husband of the main character goes to the front of the Great Patriotic War, his wife, having become the head of the family, experiences all the hardships of military hard times. She becomes the breadwinner, the main earner in the family and is still a faithful wife, waiting for her husband from the front. The script of the film was written by Akmurad Rejepov based on real stories told by eyewitnesses of those years.
