Three Transylvanian brothers want to leave America and return home, but since one of them gets married and his wife is expecting her confinement, they buy a farm. Their new neighbours also came from Transylvania, but they are Hungarians. The two families start contending with each other for their worshiping either Avram Iancu or Lajos Kossuth, that is either a Romanian or a Hungarian Transylvanian hero. Still, when attacked by the bandits, they will all join forces to drive them away. And even if they strike oil, when the time comes, the three brothers sell their farm and resume their journey back home.
