SINOPSIS

[ro] Ciobanii tushetieni conduc mii de oi de pe vârfurile înzăpezite ale Caucazului până în stepele pustii ale Vashlovani și înapoi. Filmată pe parcursul a 16 luni, povestea urmărește migrația lor sezonieră - o viață trăită sub cerul liber, modelată de ritmul naturii și de nevoile animalelor lor. În această lume în schimbare, tradiția atemporală a păstorilor rămâne fragilă: dacă se opresc din mișcare, riscă să-și piardă nu doar turmele, ci și înțelepciunea strămoșilor lor, o cultură care poate dăinui doar prin mișcare.

[en] Tushetian shepherds lead thousands of sheep from the snowy peaks of the Caucasus to the deserted steppes of Vashlovani and back. Filmed over 16 months, the story follows their seasonal migration - a life lived under the open sky, shaped by the rhythm of nature and the needs of their animals. In this changing world, the shepherds' timeless tradition remains fragile: if they stop moving, they risk losing not only their flocks but also the wisdom of their ancestors, a culture that can endure only through motion.
