Wata Igarashi [JP] 18++

On Friday, November 20, we’re welcoming a true techno original to the Berlin Room.

Wata Igarashi operates in a realm of his own making. Mechanical precision meets psychedelic euphoria across his catalogue for Kompakt, The Bunker NY, Figure and fabric, plus his own WIP imprint. His sound has continued to evolve with My Supernova, his 2025 album on Dekmantel, that pushes into immersive, expansive territory, packed with head-melting creativity and unexpected moments of release.

Whether tearing up a dancefloor or exploring stranger corners, Wata brings extraordinary depth and detail to everything he touches. A singular force in contemporary techno, performing worldwide as both DJ and live artist who hits with force, color, and leaves plenty of room for the mind to wander.
