HARD BOP & BEYOND

A powerful program of hard bop era tunes and arrangements, alongside original works. This night pays homage to the giants, with a special emphasis on the sound of Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers. The members of this group have been making international names for themselves, having played on recordings as both sidemen and leaders. Now assembled for a unified, unique musical experience, they have quickly propelled themselves to “must-see” status in the Bucharest jazz scene.
