Green Onions Experience

Green Onions Experience is a Romanian blues-rock band from Cluj-Napoca, and their first notable appearance began with blues music.
They have performed at the most important blues festivals and events in Romania in a surprisingly short period of time, sharing the same stage as such big names like Eric Gales, Beth Hart or Walter Trout.
Currently, their style is leaning more towards the rock genre, and they are continuously exploring with different sounds.
The band was founded in 2019 by Vlad Mocanescu (vocals/guitar) with Dinca Vasile (rhythm guitar), Petru Covriga (drums), and later joined by Darius Blaj (bass guitar). In the beginning, Dinca was the bass player, but with the arrival of Blaj, he switched to rhythm guitar.
Their first EP, called "DJAH," was released in February 2020. That same year brought some good news for the band. They were invited to play at the Open Air Blues Festival "Brezoi" in the 2021 edition. After this show, they were re-invited for the 2022 festival edition, and they also performed at other important events such as Thracvm Motor Fest Suceava, Cluj Blues Festival, Cluj Never Sleeps, and the Urban Blues Fest in Bucharest.
On the 7th of April 2023 they released their first album called „Troubled Minds”. Following that they had a national album release tour which made another important impact for the band.
The same year, at the end of the summer season they had their first acoustic show, where Cristian Munteanu (Saxophone, Clarinet) was invited to perform together with G.O.E. After the successful show he became a permanent member of the band.
Now G.O.E is a 5 member blues-rock band, with a strong musical show from heavy guitar riffs, sliding solos to the most fascinating drum or saxophone parts completing with some remarkable bass sounds.
