ctrl x aim+wall present: DJ Nigga Fox [PT] 18+

The aim+wall crew are in control at the Berlin Room this Thursday, November 12, inviting Lisbon’s DJ Nigga Fox for a session where batida is the backbone but anything goes - psychedelic electronics meet ass-shaking rhythms.

BERLIN ROOM

DJ NIGGA FOX [PT]

DJ Nigga Fox came up via Lisbon's Príncipe Discos, a label which is very much part of the sounds and the communities of the periphery of the city. Since his debut EP O Meu Estilo in 2013 his music has been extremely difficult to categorise, a blend of batida with all sorts of odd electronics, all sorts of strange turns and a lot of room for things to get weird.

He's put out records on Warp, taken his live show to Sónar Barcelona and kept on finding new directions to go in. Chá Preto is the most recent album (2024) and takes the music into a more spacious, psychedelic realm without losing the sense of rhythm.

There's always that slight element of the unexpected in a DJ Nigga Fox track. You're in the groove and then suddenly it's different. In the end it all makes sense once you're actually moving.

AIM+WALL

The Aim+Wall crew are in the Berlin Room on Thursday 12th November. They're all about the more obscure corners of electronic music, from UK bass and jungle through to electro and all the various shades in between. Interesting ears and a genuine interest in the underground.
