English indie raconteur Baxter Dury will perform for the first time in Bucharest – June 13 at Control Club.

Spinning wry, observant stories of life among the well-heeled but poorly behaved, Baxter Dury, the son of pub rock/new wave icon Ian Dury, is a songwriter and vocalist with a strong and distinctive style.
Spanning well over a decade, Baxter Dury’s discography consists of six studio albums and a best-of compilation. His latest full-length release, the wonderfully named Night Chancers (Heavenly, 2020), is a brutal self-satire on an evening spent in a Paris hotel.
Dury is alternately very funny, oddly disturbing and genuinely touching, which is a lot of ground to cover in under half an hour. – The Guardian
