ALT JAZZ: Yoni Mayraz Trio

Jazz headz, we are so back! 

We continue this season with our collaboration with Black Rhino Radio to showcase forward-thinking jazz artists who explore the intersection of different genres and cultures. 

Following this path, we're happy to announce that keyboardist and producer Yoni Mayraz will open this season of ALT JAZZ, coming to Control on Monday, September 28, in a stellar trio format with Zoe Pascal on drums and Tom Driessler on bass. 

Mayraz will make his debut in Bucharest, playing tracks from his latest album ’Dogs Bark Babies Cry’, released last year at PPK Records. On the album, you will discover compositions and grooves that weave together elements of 90s hip-hop, Middle Eastern textures, and electronic soundscapes, while echoing the sound of the great 70s jazz-funk trios.
