Alt Jazz: Elijah Fox [USA]

[Alt Jazz] series is delighted to welcome LA-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer Elijah Fox. One of the modern greats of new wave jazz, as described by DMS News, his work moves between meditation and momentum, texture and groove.   

Elijah’s productions and collaborations touch so many realms of music that ‘jazz’ becomes more than a genre and summons influences from hip-hop, R’n’B, pop, ambient, and soul. He recorded and produced for artists such as SZA, Masego, YG, ScHoolboy Q, Denzel Curry, Tate McCrae, Musiq Soulchild, Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, J Cole, and many others, as well as releasing his own original compositions and sample packs. 

In his latest release, ”Ambient Works for the Highways of Los Angeles”, Elijah sets up the impeccable mood for a journey where everything blends together while moving through shapes and landscapes.
