Program American Weekend

Until we have the chance to meet again at the festival, the American Independent Film Festival has prepared a weekend of online screenings, for fans of U.S. indies. American Weekend will take place between May 1st - 3rd, online through the Eventbook.ro platform. Each film will be available for viewing between 5:00pm - midnight, on the day it is scheduled.

May 1st, The Florida Project,by Sean Baker

May 2nd, the U.S. co-production You Were Never Really Here, directed by Lynne Ramsay

May 3rd, Good Time, by Joshua Safdie and Ben Safdie

The Florida Projectand You Were Never Really Herewill be screened together with fragments from Q&A’s with Sean Baker and Lynne Ramsay, held on occasion of the premiere of their films in Romania.

All titles will be screened with Romanian subtitles. The talks are presented in English.

How to watch:

The cost of one viewing is 12 lei. In order to purchase, the viewer must have an Eventbook account. Orders are limited to one purchase per e-mail address, in order to ensure that all viewers are logged onto their Eventbook account with which they purchased their ticket.
