Silent Heroes are individuals who, in their particular areas of expertise – administration, justice, health, education, culture, business or civil society – have been confronted with situations in which their integrity was put to the test. The way they reacted under pressure proves that their sense of integrity is fundamental to their character, that they're ready to fight for it and to defend it unconditionally. Because they dared to go all the way to defend what they believe in, they are soldiers on the battleground of values and this is what makes their testimonials meaningful for the public at large.
