About Stephen Donnelly

Stephen Donnelly, a globally recognized oenologist with over 30 years of experience, is often referred to as the "Wine Trouble Shooter." Having honed his craft in some of the world's premier wine regions—including Napa Valley, where he studied at the University of California, Davis—Stephen has created award-winning wines in England, Hungary, South Africa, India, and Romania. He began his journey with Romanian wines in 1995 and has been the head oenologist at Budureasca since 2007, leading the winery to win over 500 gold, silver, and bronze medals in prestigious international competitions.
