Blending indie rock, flamenco, folk, blues, and global influences, the band creates immersive performances where every melody tells a story—without the need for words. Formed in 2011, City of the Sun now features guitarist John Pita, percussionist Zach Para, bassist Matt Fasano and guitarist Marco Bolfelli. Since their debut in 2016 with To The Sun and All the Cities in Between, to their 2020 self-titled, and 2022’s Segunda Alma, the band has built a cult-following around the globe. The band’s sound has an array of influences including indie rock, American folk, flamenco, and blues; it’s been called worldly, cinematic, a mix between Rodrigo y Gabriela and Explosions in the Sky.

Known for sold-out shows across Europe and their captivating live energy, City of the Sun arrives in Bucharest fresh off the release of their new album, Under the Moon, produced by Phil Ek. Expect an unforgettable evening of evocative, boundary-crossing music that feels both intimate and expansive.
