ctrl LIVE: JazzyBIT & K-lu

In the summer of 2025, JazzyBIT and DJ K-lu joined forces and built something new: a project that blurs the line between a live band and a DJ set. JazzyBIT tracks get injected with hip-hop, electro and funk from K-lu's side; K-lu's tracks get coloured by jazzy rhythms and live improvisation. The result is something that doesn't quite fit a single box, and that's exactly the point.

JazzyBIT is a loud jazz trio from Timișoara: Teodor Pop (piano, keys), Mihai Moldoveanu (bass) and Szabó Csongor-Zsolt (drums). Think Hiromi playing with Snarky Puppy, but as a trio. High energy, no fillers.

K-lu has been active on the electronic scene since 2005, mixing hip-hop, electro, bass music and funk, with samples from old Romanian films woven in throughout.
