13th EDITION | October 21st - 30th, 2022
From the 21st - 30th of October, the 13th edition of Les Films de Cannes à Bucharest presents the most anticipated films from the Cannes Film Festival selection, with screenings and special guests at the Elvire Popesco Cinema, the Peasant Museum Cinema and the Eforie Cinematheque.
TICKETS
Screenings take place at Cinema Elvire Popesco, Cinema Muzeul Țăranului and Cinemateca Eforie.
Tickets can be purchased on Eventbook.ro and the Eventbook network. For the screenings taking place at Cinema Elvire Popescu, tickets can also be purchased at the Elvire Popescu box office.
From October 21st, tickets can also be purchased at the other festival venues (Peasant Museum Cinema and Eforie Cinematheque), which will open one hour before the start of the first film in the program.
TICKET PRICES
Elvire Popesco Cinema, the Peasant Museum Cinema and the Eforie Cinematheque.
The price of a ticket is 20 lei. Pension card holders benefit from a 50% discount on the ticket price. The discount applies only at the ticket offices of the festival venues on the basis of the ticket stub.
For the films "Le Gamin au vélo", "La fille inconnue" in the Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne Retrospective section, "Trois souvenirs de ma jeunesse" in the Arnaud Desplechin Retrospective section and the films in the Pier Paolo Pasolini Retrospective section, the price of a ticket is 10 lei.
PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS
For every 6 tickets purchased for any of the films that have screenings in the same cinema during the festival, you get a 20% discount on the total ticket price.
For 10 tickets purchased for any of the films that have screenings in any of the theatres during the festival, you get a 20% discount on the total ticket price.
Discounted tickets can be bought as a package - for a single screening - or for different screenings at the same venue and can be purchased on Eventbook.ro or at the cinema box office.
UNATC and Hyperion University Faculty of Arts students have free admission subject to availability, upon presentation of their student card.
ATTENTION
* Access is general (no assigned row and seat)
* Access to the cinema after the time announced in the programme is not permitted and the ticket shall become invalid. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to avoid any unpleasant situations.
Any changes in the programme will be announced on the filmedefestival.ro website and on the festival Facebook page. All films have Romanian subtitles and most of them also have English subtitles. You can check the subtitling details in the film section of the website, in the description of each film.
