Acum O Vezi, Acum Nu / Now You See It, Now You Don’t - proiecție film

Cunoscutul regizor și autor de texte dramatico-filosofice Richard Foreman, o legendă a teatrului american, a început să facă filme experimentale ca să fugă de teatru în care i se părea că nu mai are nimic nou de spus. Au rezultat eseuri vizuale extrem de poetice, bazate pe filmări realizate în diferite spații culturale, cu actori și non-actori locali.

În 2008 Richard Foreman a fost invitat să țină un workshop și o prezentare în cadrul Festivalului Național de Teatru. Nouă ani mai târziu PITB prezintă filmul Acum o vezi, acum nu, având în distribuție actorii români cu care Richard Foreman a lucrat în 2008.

The famous playwright and director Richard Foreman, a living legend of the American theater, started to make experimental films in order to run away from theater where it seemed to him he had nothing new to say. The result was a series of visual poetical essays based on shootings done in various cultural contexts with actors and/or non-actors.

In 2008 Richard Foreman was invited for the first time in Romania by Cristina Modreanu to give a workshop and a presentation in the frame of Romanian National Theater Festival. Nine years later, Bucharest International Theater Platform presents the film Now you see it, now you don’t, with a cast of Romanian performers Richard Forman worked with in 2008.
